I feel as though technology has always been something that came rather easy for me. I learned to use different types of technology all throughout my education, and as a result, feel confident that I retain a knowledge of nearly all of them. Education in general in this day and age basically requires that you be able to work capably with technology in order to learn. I have no qualms with receiving assignments online, using technology to complete the tasks, and then to submit them. I do, however, despise the idea of using online platforms to achieve the classroom as a whole. I don't feel as though technology can replace the effect that having a teacher right in front of you, and peers all around you, has on my desire and focus on learning. In regards to specific technologies I feel capable to confident using. I feel confident with almost every cell phone or computer. I feel capable with software like InDesign and Photoshop. I feel confident with Microsoft word as a whole, and capable with cameras.
In this class, I hope to learn more about what makes specific technologies suitable to education, and how to educate people on technology specifically. I feel as though my understanding of technology is such that I can teach myself how to work it, but I don't have a good enough understanding to easily teach others.
Today, I learned that my learning styles are sort of all over the place. I'm an active learner, but tend to be a bit more reflective than most active learners. I don't enjoy group work, but rather would have one person walk me through the steps of something to learn. The only one that I have a very harsh lean towards is intuitive over sensing. It didn't surprise me, as I enjoy creative writing and enjoy fiction. I want to make relationships between things, understand the emotions and feelings that are involved, see how it effects people more than anything else.

I think it's interesting that you said you're comfortable with most cell phones and computers, I think it is a pretty big thing in our generation and our day and age to use things such as smart phones and have access to all different types of computers. I also agree with your point about technology replacing teachers, and the classroom setting overall. I am in an online course, and while listening to lectures in my bed can be nice, if I have a question, there is no immediate response, I don't know any of the people in my class, and its very isolated, which I do not like.
